Condolences for the loss of David Sassoli

It is with sadness and deep regret that we have heard of the death of David Sassoli, President of the European Commission. In a correspondence with David Sassoli in 2020 he wrote:
“Thank you for your letter . . .and for the vital role that EAP Psychotherapists play in mental health care, especially in times of crisis, based on the high standards of training, ethical and professional conduct and professional competence.”
We honour the support that David Sassoli gave to our profession, and we extend our condolences and sympathy to his family and colleagues.
